Does Ride Report share any information about me?
No personally identifiable information is ever shared! We hate that too.
Instead, we may use your anonymous trip ratings in aggregate with all our other riders to create a Stress Map that illustrates bicycle infrastructure in your city. The Stress Map is a snapshot of bike rides in your city and does not identify any riders. In fact, we only publish the Stress Map once we reach a high threshold of coverage in your city.
Why does Ride Report need access to my location?
Ride Report uses your location to automatically detect and store your bike rides. Don't worry, your data is fully anonymous and we won't publish individual rides.
Your anonymous trip data will be used in aggregate to create a Stress Map of bicycle infrastructure in your city. We only create Stress Maps once we have enough anonymous trips to cover a large portion of the city.
How do I delete or export all data associated with my account?
To export your data to GPX files, you'll need an iPhone running the latest version of Ride App, 2.1.3. Tap the Gear Icon on the lower right, then tap Export Data. Trip summary data can also be exported to the Health App on iOS.
